Scarecrow Contest
Show your community involvement, promote your organization, business or school and compete for bragging rights and fun prizes.  Grab your supplies and start stuffing!  You can compete individually or as a group.  Judges and festival attendees will vote for their favorite scarecrow during the festival in the following categories: funniest, most original, best representative of the organization or business, best use of recycled material, and people’s choice.

Rules of Participation
-Scarecrow drop off and registration is available Tuesday 10/6 through Friday, 10/9, 9 am - 4 pm.  Scarecrows will be accepted the morning of 10/11 until noon.  There will be no scarecrow drop off or registration Saturday, October 10.
·-Entry is open to everyone and there is no fee to enter.
·-You may use whatever materials you wish.
·-Scarecrows must show good taste and be non-offensive.  No entry will be accepted that reflects controversial social or political material.  TBG reserves the right to remove any scarecrow that does not meet these standards.
·-You are encouraged to provide a sign to go with your scarecrow.  This sign may be used to promote your business/organization/school.
·-Participants are responsible for scarecrow pick up and delivery.  The scarecrows will remain on display for one week after the Festival (they will be taken down on Friday October 18, you can pick up after Sunday, October 20).
·-Not responsible for loss or damage to scarecrows.
·-Most importantly… have fun and be creative!
